Welcome to our club web site. First established in 1962 we are probably
the oldest, and certainly one of the friendliest clay shooting clubs in the
South Cheshire - North Shropshire area.
We meet on the last Saturday of every month at our shooting ground,
which is just outside Tilston, Nr Malpas, in South-West Cheshire. (See
If you would like to join us, it is a great way to spend a Saturday and you
would be made very welcome.
This web site is intended to give members and guests all the information
they need to find us, understand what we do and to keep up with all the
latest news. Please let us know if you have any suggestions for
improvements or additions.
If you would like to join us for a shoot, or simply want to know more,
please contact us via the "Contact Us" page or just turn up at our ground
on a shoot day.
Please Note: We shoot only at inanimate clay targets - not live birds
or animals.
One of the main differences between ourselves and most other
clay shooting venues is that we are entirely non-commercial.
We are owned and run by the members, which means that on
shoot days everybody is expected to "muck-in" and help with the
setting-up, trapping, scoring and clearing away afterwards.
We try not to be too officious, but the very nature of the sport
means that we have to follow very strict rules, particularly in
regards to safety where our rules are absolutely non-negotiable.
All members and guests are asked to familiarise themselves with
the rules of the club, particularly our Safety Code, which is shown
on the "Club Rules" page. Thank you for your cooperation in this
regard.
